Partnership for Green Technology Development in Latin America

In light of the Republic of Colombia’s recent signing into law of a new clean energy policy on the 13th of May, 2014 that aims to boost new sources of renewables and reduce dependence on oil exports, Global Advances Group has formed a strategic alliance with Green Fair Trade Business: an entity of commercial and industrial nature that works to promote trade and commerce initiatives related to social inclusion, technology transfer and acquisition, mining and agricultural activities.

The objective of the alliance is to unite the knowledge, contacts, experience and ideas for the purpose of developing projects in Colombia and throughout Latin America that generate inclusive and sustainable business practices. The business undertaken will focus on technologies that prove to be economically profitable, environmentally and socially responsible, and that coincide with the framework of mutual benefit for the communities in which they are to be implemented, while improving the quality of life for low-income and vulnerable populations.
